Embossed Christmas Card

Products Used :
You will need:
- Textured white cardblanks
- Die Cuts with a View - Cardstock, Brights
- Metallic Silver cardstock
- Silver brads
- Sandpaper
How to make the Three Trees card:
- Take a long strip of pale blue cardstock and emboss a swirl border across its length. Take a peice of fine sandpaper and rub over the surface of the card to remove a layer of colour and expose the white core of the card. Next, attach across the base of your cardblank.
- By hand cut 3 'wonky' rectangles of card in different shades of green card and emboss each one with a different Christmas tree. Use the sandpaer to distress each individual embossed image.
- Take 3 thin strips of card in the same 3 shades of green, fold them roughly in half and distress each one using your sandpaper. Attach to each embossed tree with a stapler and finally, mount the 3 trees onto your cardblank using sticky pads.
How to make the Silver Tree card:
- Hand cut a long thin rectangle of deep lilac cardstock emboss with swirls along it length and distress using sandpaper.
- By hand cut a smaller rectangle of blue cardstock and partially emboss a snowflake in the bottom right hand corner.
- Mount both rectangles onto your cardblank before die cutting your Christmas tree from silver cardstock before mounting onto the cardblank using sticky pads.
How to make the Snowman card:
- Emboss a border of swirls onto a long thin strip fo turquoise cardstock. Distress the strip with sandpaper and attach to the cardblank near its base.
- Take a 55mm wide rectangle of aqua blue cardstock and tear off one edge before embossing the phrase 'Season's Greetings' near the torn edge. Mount onto your cardblank parallel with the border strip.
- Cut a 'wonky' rectangle out of pale blue cardstock and emboss with the snowman before distressing with a peice of sandpaper. Use a craft knife to cut tiny slits near each corner through which you can ut the silver brads. Mount the snowman onto your cardblank using sticky pads.
- On a piece of light blue cardstock emboss the snowflake. Trim down to size and distress with your sandpaper. Mat this snowflake onto a piece of turquoise card and mounto onto the cardblank using sticky pads.
